Happy Birthday Markus!

Last sat was Markus' 28th birthday! Sat we went to Lake Tahoe and enjoyed a nice picnic on the beach. Josiah and daddy walked in the water and threw rocks (Josiah's favorite thing to do). We could not have asked for a more perfect day. The weather was so nice. It was warm and not windy and we practically had the whole beach to our selves. Azariah slept almost the whole time, so we sat on the shore under an umbrella and watched the parasailers go by. After being there for a couple hours the meat bees started to get a little agressive and Josiah got stung. We left shortly after that. That night I had a little surprise dinner planned with my parents at their house. We walked over there (they live down the street) and they had the house decorated and Markus was shocked that I was able to keep a secret, it was fun. We had a nice tritip dinner their with the Morrill family. Sun we went to church and after that we had Stephanies enchiladas for lunch. Then we were off to Reno to spend the night at the Nugget. We went to dinner at their Buffet; it was delicious. After dinner we took the kids to thier indoor pool. Josiah loved it! He was laying back in the water and wanting to kick! We swam for a couple hours, then we were off to bed. The next day we enjoyed going out to breakfast and playing in the arcade. I love watching Josiah and his daddy get excited about stuff, its precious. Markus had a great birthday! It was nice being able to travel, (evan if it was just to Reno) it gave us a little taste as to what we are in for in going to Disneyland in a couple weeks with two kids. But my mom is going with us to Disneyland so she will be a lot of help. It amazes me how big Josiah is getting! He did so well when we were out, he's turning into a little boy. He's starting to listen a lot better and enjoy a lot more stuff. His favorite thing now with his sister is to hold her. He loves to get up on the couch and just sit there and hold his sister for like 15 minutes. He kisses her and holds her hand and says Amen and she looks up at him. It makes me tearful to watch my kids together their too cute, I love them!
