So heres the story of Josiahs fish......
We went to the carnival in Truckee at the end of July and Josiah won a gold fish. We got home and put it in a big glass cookie jar we had. We went a got it some food, and the next day it died. Then we went on vacation and we got back my mom took Josiah to the pet store to pick out another fish. The guy at the pet store told them that the fish really need to be in a aquarium, not in a small bowl like we had. Josiah was SOOOO excited to pick out his fish and have a fish again. It lived in our cookie jar in the kitchen window. We went to Walmart and found a reasonable aquarium and decided to get it for the fish to live in longer. Well, we got home that night and the fish was dead! So, Grandma took him to the pet store again and this time Josiah picked out 5 fish! One really big gold fish and four little ones. We put them in our aquarium, and guess what.... about two hours later, the big one died!!! Can you believe it!? How hard is it to keep gold fish alive?? Well, now he has four little gold fish and a really nice home for them so hopefully these will last!!
Sorry I havn't posted In July or Aug much. We did some fun activities for Azariahs birthday and a little vacation, if you want to see some pics of that, check out our facebook page :)

Wish we would have known about your goldfish ordeal. We have an aquarium you could have had. We got it when Cayton wanted a goldfish for his birthday....about 5 or 6 goldfish later we realized that the cheap price of the pet wasn't so cheap when you had to buy all the stuff to go with it. I hope you have better luck then we did. One thing the pet shop did tell us was to treat the water with these special drops.
