Azariah Marie Bella Lopez was born on Tues. July 29, 2008 at 1:31 pm. Weighing 6lb 15oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She's beautiful! I went into labor at 6am, got to the hospital at 10am and she was born at 1:30pm. It was a fast, hard labor. I had no drugs, (but was screaming for one at 9 centimeters) and she was born facing up. (It's supposed to be face down) My doula (birthing couch) said that explained why I was in more pain. After Azariah was born I lost A LOT of blood and past out. Azariah swallowed a lot of fluid coming out and she was having a hard time breathing. After we were both doing ok, I finally got to hold her and see the beautiful angel that God had created. The next day I was still not doing very well and the Dr. said that my blood level was at 6 instead of the normal 14; so I had to get a blood transfusion. After a couple days, we were both doing good enough for us to go home. So we are home now resting and enjoying our family of four. Josiah just loves his sister. He couldn't stop kissing her the first time he saw her. He always wants to see her and touch her and kiss her. We have been so blessed with two wonderful children. Stephanie, my mom and Candice have been such a HUGE help coming over everyday and taking care of us. Thank you guys so much, we love you! And thank you for everyone thats been praying for us. Azariah is truly a gift from the Lord.

Congradulations! Looking forward to seeing her this evening.
October is way too far away!! Oh, she is just TOO beautiful! Miracle baby, for sure. Wish I could be there to help, too. Tell Josiah we want to play with him when Uncle Keith has his birthday. It's gonna be the day after Uncle Jason gets married. We're probably gonna rent a house with Bev & Bob. God Bless your family!! Much, MUCH LOVE, Cathy & Keith
