A Gift from the Lord

Yesterday we had a little scare with our 12 month old daughter Azariah. Her and Josiah were playing and he was tickling her and wanted to pull her down and as a result, she fell. I wasn't too worried because they do this often, and they both have little falls all the time. She cried for about a minute, I picked her up and was holding her. At that time Markus came in from being outside and all of a sudden Azariah turned pale and her lips were white. She started rolling her eyes in the back of her head and was limp. We were saying her name and trying to wake her up and she wouldn't move. I told Markus to call 911! After a few minutes Azariah started coming alert and looking at us. We waited for the ambulance to get there, which took about 10-15 minutes (which seemed like forever). By the time they got there, Azariah's color was coming back, and she was acting normal! They said that this was common when kids fall. It takes them longer to catch their breath, and sometimes passes out! They said that she looks fine and to just keep an eye on her. Thank you Lord!!

Markus and I were talking after ward (when we both weren't so panicked!) and both came to the realization that our kids truly belong to the Lord and He can take them home at anytime. God is so good to us by letting these beautiful children be in our lives! Thank you Lord for Blessing us with such an amazing gift as being parents! A wake up call to me, THESE CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM THE LORD, love them, nourish them, teach them, LOVE them! We are just passing through, live your life for Jesus and thank Him for blessing you! Thank you Jesus!!
