We are going to have a girl!

Hi everybody, we are very excited to announce that we are going to have a girl. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the lady said that she looked a few times and was pretty sure that it's a girl, and showed us the "clue" that it was. We couldn't be more happy. The Lord has just blessed us abundantly. After 7 grandson's on Markus' side, we are pretty shocked that we are having a girl. We just assumed that it was going to be another boy. So she will be the first granddaughter on his side and first great granddaughter on my side. Her name is going to be Azariah Marie Bella Lopez. Azariah means God is my help. It fits perfectly considering everything that happened in the beginning of my pregnancy. She is a gift from God, our true miracle baby. We didn't get any good pictures from the ultrasound. We are going to have a 3D ultrasound done at the end of April; we want to double check that she's really a girl and look at her again with the 3D ultrasound, it's pretty neat. Hopefully we will be able to post up pictures of her then. I made it so that anyone can post a comment if you want to, you don't have to have an account. We will continue to post updates and more pictures soon!

Josiah has been so cute lately. I don't know if a lot of you know this but his first word was "Amen." Every time we get around the table to eat and pray when we are all done we say "in Jesus name we pray, Amen." Then you hear him say "amen". It is so cute. He says "UH OH", whenever he drops something or does something. Also in the morning right when he wakes up we can hear him calling for daddy. His dad loves to get up early in the morning and get him especially if he is calling for him! He loves to watch Hermie and Veggie Tales and he's really into bringing books to us for us to read to him. He is such a joy to us! For the last few weeks he has been wanting to feed himself so you know how that could go. It starts out in his bowl and before you know it it is all over his hair, on his face and yes all over the front of him. We wonder if he even got any in his mouth! We just laugh and it is so cute because he will begin to laugh right along with us. He is turning to such a little boy now and we love him so very much. It has been great seeing the changes in him and it will be neat to see how he will do with a little sister!

We left Josiah for the first time this last Friday. It was my birthday and Markus and I went to Reno and stayed at one of the Casino's. There was an indoor pool and spa, and of course we had to gamble. We ended up losing a whole whopping 14 dollars, and won nothing. Well anyway it was pretty hard to leave him for the whole night. But knowing that he was home in his own bed with his grandma, made it easier. We called him to say goodnight and he was talking to us, it was too cute. My mom told us that he went pee in his potty! For two months we have been putting him on his potty before he takes a bath and he hasn't gone yet. And we missed the first time, it was like he was showing his Grandma what he's supposed to do. He probably did it on accident, but it was exciting to hear about. He is changing a lot. He kisses my belly, it's too precious! I can't wait for him to meet his baby sister.
